THREE WAYS TO GO SOLAR.
Pick the one that fits your goals. We will tell you which one we would choose.
PPA / lease
A third-party provider owns the system and you pay a set monthly amount under your agreement, up to 60% lower than your current electric bill. With a PPA you pay per kilowatt-hour made. With a lease you pay a flat monthly fee.
Good for. People who want a lower bill with little or nothing down, and no repairs to think about.
Watch for. Check the contract length, any yearly increase, and what happens if you sell the home.
Finance
A loan covers the system. A fixed monthly payment replaces all or most of your electric bill, and the system is yours.
Good for. People who want to own the system without paying cash up front.
Watch for. Compare the rate, the term, and the total you will pay, not just the monthly figure.
Cash
You buy the system outright. Your electric cost drops by most or all, for decades, with no monthly payment.
Good for. People who plan to stay and want the highest long-term return.
Watch for. It is the biggest up-front cost. Ask what a loan or PPA would look like next to it.
SIDE BY SIDE.
The federal homeowner solar credit ended on December 31, 2025, so it no longer applies to a system you buy. Ask us what applies to you today. Read why.
